Spanish is a living language, spoken by more than 500 million people worldwide and present in over 20 countries. Discover a rich language, culture, and history, and learn to communicate with Spanish speakers through a practical approach focusing on communication.
At Gra Center, we emphasize a method that develops all language skills: comprehension, speaking, reading, and writing. Small groups allow each participant to speak and progress from the very first meetings.
This dynamic program consists of 15 sessions designed to expand the ability to communicate in everyday situations, enrich vocabulary, and develop fluency and confidence in the Spanish language. Learning combines conversations, role-playing, practical tasks, and real-life scenarios practice, in a pleasant and safe environment.

- Needs and Purchases: Managing interactions in stores, inquiring about prices, buying, and requesting information.
- Preferences and Comparisons: Choice questions, justifying preferences, and basic comparison between options.
- Relationships: Extended conversations about family, friends, and close social relationships.
- Describing People: Using descriptive structures for physical appearance, character, age, and personal status.
- Tastes and Habits: Conversations about hobbies, shared leisure activities, and social preferences.
- Daily Routine and Schedules: Describing daily schedules, reflexive verbs, frequency expressions, and time organization.
- Practical and Useful Grammar: Demonstrative and possessive pronouns, the verbs gustar, preferir, tener que, ir, and irregular present tense verbs.
About the Instructor: Mordechai Horn
Mordechai Horn, a native of Argentina and a native Spanish speaker, holds a Ph.D. in Education Sciences and has extensive experience in teaching and international research. He offers lively, dynamic, and communication-based instruction.
Course structure
The course consists of 15 two-hour sessions, totaling 30 learning hours per level.
Gra Center offers a gradually progressing Spanish study track from level 1 to level 8, with progressions based on the CECRL scale – (the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), from beginner levels to B1-B2 levels, allowing participants to advance step by step.
Textbook and Learning Materials
Textbook details will be provided by the teacher during the first class, and participants will purchase the textbook independently.
Price for the book set:
- Printed book with digital access: about 200–230 ₪
- Digital version only: about 100 ₪
The book will be used for three levels in the track (levels 1, 2, and 3), corresponding to levels A1 and early A2 according to the CECRL framework.

No classes will be held on 29.9 and 27.10.

Cancellation policy: You can cancel a transaction 14 days before the start of the activity (excluding rest days). The refund will be processed with a deduction of 5% or 100 ₪, whichever is lower. Afterward, cancellation is not possible at any stage.

By public transport: Any line arriving at the corner of HaMasger and HaRakevet streets. Cross to Rosh Pina St and turn to Gra' St.
On foot or by bicycle: It is recommended to arrive via HaRakevet St, entering from Rosh Pina St or Bnei Brak St, and turning onto Gra' St.
Paid parking nearby: Central Park parking lot at 58 HaRakevet St.
