This duo performance includes cello, voice, and drums. Maya Belsitzman (cellist, singer, and composer) and Matan Efrat (drummer, percussionist, and producer) are partners in life and in creativity, combining original compositions, jazz, world music, and Hebrew songs. They perform in Israel and across the globe, on prestigious stages such as Carnegie Hall in New York (alongside Yo-Yo Ma) and in many jazz and world music festivals. In recent years, they have been the regular accompanying ensemble for Chava Alberstein in her performances and recordings. The show features beloved and familiar material in original arrangements, as well as original works from their new album "A Grain of Sand."
