Trans Ensemble at the Gay Center (in artistic partnership with Triangle Theatre)
The trans ensemble of the Gay Center, under the artistic direction of Triangle Theatre, is launching a year‑long creative journey and invites trans‑identifying women, men and non‑binary people to join. No prior experience is required – just curiosity, commitment and a desire to learn, grow and create together.
What to Expect During the Year
- Throughout the year we will build a cohesive ensemble.
- Participants will acquire professional theatre tools – acting, voice, movement and stage‑craft.
- We will go through a shared creative process.
- At the end of the year the ensemble will present a performance created collaboratively by its members, performed for an audience.
This is a journey of creation, personal expression, learning and sharing, where everyone has a place to bring their unique voice to the stage.
Auditions
- Dates: September 1–2
- Preparation: Prepare a monologue (up to 5 minutes) taken from a play, film or TV series and learn it by heart.
Ensemble Rehearsals
- When: Sundays, 19:00–21:30
- Starting: October 4, 2026
About the Director
Tamar Danielli – director and theatre teacher
- Holds a B.A. in directing and theatre education with honors from the Kibbutzim Seminar.
- Participated in the international residency for directors and theatre creators at La MaMa Umbria (Italy).
- Serves as a lecturer and member of the artistic committee at Be’er Sheva Theatre.
- Leads a studio at the Wings Association.
- Teaches and develops creative processes in artistic, educational and community settings.
