During the summer, Migdal Tzedek National Park stays open until 21:00 and invites families to enjoy a spectacular sunset over the beach. After sunset you can climb up to the illuminated citadel, watch the installation “Avnei Derech,” join an observation with the site volunteers, and finish with ice cream or coffee at the service center.

In honor of summer, on selected days Migdal Tzedek National Park will stay open until 21:00.
When the sun sets, temperatures drop and it becomes much more pleasant to walk.
The whole family is invited to enjoy Migdal Tzedek National Park during the pleasant hours of the day:
- Start with a self‑guided walk around the fortress.
- Wait for the sunset and enjoy an especially beautiful view of the entire coastal plain painted in sunset colours (get your cameras ready…).
When darkness falls:
- Climb up to the impressive fortress illuminated at night.
- Watch the “Avnei Derech” installation that tells the story of the place.
- Wander among the fortress rooms.
- Join a lookout together with the site volunteers.
- Finish with ice cream or a good coffee at the traveler service centre.
When: Mondays 10 August, 24 August, 31 August – from 17:00 to 21:00 (last entry at 20:00).
