Guided sunset tour at Ein Avdat National Park on September 28–30, 2026, at the Birdwatching Center, Ben-Gurion’s Estate, and the Zin Cliffs Promenade.
During the intermediate days of Sukkot 2026, the Israel Nature and Parks Authority invites you to an inspiring, connective desert experience during the desert’s most beautiful hours.
We will begin the tour at the Birdwatching Center at the Zin Cliffs entrance, where we will discover the fascinating world of desert birds and winged creatures during the migration season. From there, we will continue to Ein Avdat National Park and the tomb estate of David and Paula Ben-Gurion, for a conversation about vision, leadership, and the deep connection to the Negev.
We will conclude the tour with a leisurely twilight walk along the Zin Cliffs Promenade, overlooking the impressive landscape of the Zin Valley. Along the promenade, we will walk on the Ofer Trail, a special and moving commemorative project in memory of Ofer Bruner, inviting mindful walking that connects people, nature, and community in the desert landscape.
