Fire in the Head
A captivating and emotional one-person show for ages 10–14 from the Orna Porat Theater for Children and Youth.
Caroline is almost 12, but she doesn't feel ready to grow up. Her father doesn’t always understand her, kids at school tease her, and all the anger and resentment building up inside her turn into a "fire in the head," bursting forth at the most unexpected moments. After getting into trouble once again, Caroline receives a new opportunity and joins a karate class. There, she discovers that karate is not just about kicks and fights, but also about self-control, persistence, and the ability to get back up every time you fall. The show is funny, touching, and full of strength, dealing with growing up, self-image, friendship, and transforming anger into positive energy.
