The only concert in Israel will take place in Tel Aviv at the Kave Rakia amphitheater – Ariel Sharon Park Outdoors.
Boris Grebenshchikov, one of the main symbols of Russian rock music, is going on tour again with the BG+ ensemble (which temporarily replaces Aquarium) and will present his new concert program with the mysterious title – "The Square Root of the Sun," featuring songs from three of his recent mini-albums, "Aquarium" classics, as well as entirely new material.
Each concert by Grebenshchikov is more than just a performance. It's a journey through musical worlds, where the legendary songs of "Aquarium," which have become the soundtrack for several generations, resonate alongside completely new compositions filled with tragedy, fresh poetry, subtle irony, and the inimitable spirit of BG.
BG+ is a compact group of musicians with whom BG has been recording albums and performing for the past three years. Together they create an intimate, live, and yet rich sound — without unnecessary pathos, as close in spirit as possible to the classic "Aquarium."
BG+ lineup:
Vocals, guitar: Boris Grebenshchikov
Accordion, keyboards: Konstantin Tumanov
Violin: Andrey Surutdinov
Bass: Alexander Titov
Percussion, drums: Liam Bradley
Percussion: Gleb Grebenshchikov
